Is the wellness area open?


Pool, spa and wellness area is exclusively open to our max. 84 hotel guests.

Our 3 saunas and the steam bath are available again without restrictions.

Due to technical circumstances, the prices for children in our online booking may not displayed correctly.

Regardless of the services booked by adults in the booking (overnight stay with breakfast, 3/4 board or arrangement) we charge 20 Euro per night for children from 0 to 2 years and 40 Euro per night for children from 3 to 11 years. These prices for children include overnight stay, breakfast and the afternoon buffet. In the evening children eat a la carte from the children's or regular menu.

The following room categories are suitable for guests with children:
1 child up to 2 years: The room category Deluxe, as well as all junior suites and suites offer space for a baby bed. Please understand that for fire safety reasons we do not provide baby beds in smaller room categories.
1 child from 3 years & 1-2 children: In the family room (junior suite with 2nd small bedroom) there is room for 2 adults and 1 child in the additional bed or 1 baby bed. Or design suite with 2 bedrooms offers space for 2 adults and 2 children. In addition, one baby bed per bedroom is possible here if required.

Can wellness treatments be booked?



Your room is ready for occupancy from 3 pm.


We kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 am on the day of departure so that it can be prepared for the following guests. You are welcome to request the use of the wellness after departure at short notice. For 25€ per person the use of the wellness until 6 pm and the afternoon snack buffet is included.

Is there a mask requirement?


As of April 3rd, 2022, the mask requirement at hotels in Baden-Württemberg will no longer apply. For your protection, our employees are still wearing masks.


The 3-course menu within the half pension is created in our Michelin starred cuisine and prepared with the same high standards of product quality and craftsmanship as our gourmet creations (although presented in a less elaborate manner).


Our indoor sauna area is textile-free. Our indoor pool, the rock whirlpool, the outdoor sauna and the entire garden can be used with bathing textiles only.
You can buy swimwear at the reception if needed.

Are there legal regulations regarding check-in?

  1. Official Corona requirements no longer apply to hotels in Baden-Württemberg.
  2. Please note that we continue to only accommodate healthy guests. In order to protect all guests and employees, you will still not be able to visit our hotel if you have any symptoms of illness that are suspected of being infected with corona (cough, shortness of breath, fever, loss of smell or taste) - even if you have a negative SARS-VoV-2 test.
  3. If you or a household member has tested positive for SARS CoV-2 in the last 10 days, as well as in all cases of quarantine (close contacts by law or official order), we unfortunately cannot welcome you even without symptoms (not even with a negative one Test!).

What are the current cancellation conditions?

Please refer to your reservation confirmation for cancellation policy of your individual reservation.

Only for direct bookers (bookings on hotel website) we additionally offer particularly flexible cancellation conditions in the case of surprising, personally unavoidable corona consequences:

Free cancellation up to the day of arrival for fully vaccinated guests incl. up-to date Booster shoot (proof of vaccination required)

  1. Isolation (positive yourself) or quarantine order (contact person): We need a copy of the positive corona test (PCR certificate) or the quarantine order from the competent authority. government agency.
  2. Guests from abroad: NEW unavoidable quarantine provision for home (currently for fully vaccinated only in virus variant areas according to RKI) or Häusern
  3. Guests from Germany: If you, as a fully vaccinated person, should be affected by travel or accommodation bans due to the situation in your home country or Häusern


Please note that when booking several rooms, the cancellation due to surprising, inevitable corona consequences only applies to those personally affected, NOT to the whole group.

Travel Cancellation Insurance:
To protect you from cancellation bills in the event of other illness-related cancellations of your trip.


Can be rented in St. Blasien and Schluchsee.
Please ask our receptionists for more information.


Bicycles are at your disposal free of charge and with a deposit. Please contact the reception desk. Special bike maps and tour suggestions are available at the reception.
Private bicycles can be stored free of charge in a lockable garage.


Is located close to the main building. Please pick up the room key at the reception to access the fitness area. Please note that the use of the gym for children under 16 years is only allowed under parental supervision. (6:30 am - 11 pm)

Breakfast room service

Please contact reception if you want your breaksat in your room. Extra Service charge is EUR 5,00 per Person


Extensive offer of healthy delicacies, freshly brewed coffee and fragrant rolls in the hotel restaurant. Gluten- and lactose-free products can also be found.


With pleasure we also welcome your quadruped with us!

These are possible in the room categories Design Deluxe, Design Suite, Design Suite with 2nd bedroom. (20 Euro per dog / night)
In order not to disturb other hotel guests, we ask for your understanding that dogs are unfortunately not allowed in the public areas such as restaurants, at meals, the sports and recreation rooms, the bathing area and the sunbathing lawn. If you leave your dog alone in the room, we kindly ask you to put the sign on the door. We ask for your understanding that our housekeeping staff will not enter the room as long as your dog is alone there.

Please note that dogs must be pre-registered and confirmed by the hotel, as not all of our rooms can be occupied by dogs.
If you arrive with dogs that have not been pre-registered, we reserve the right to refuse accommodation and charge the hotel with the fees for early departure. Alternatively, we will charge the increased cleaning costs with at least 100 Euro per room and stay (in addition to the regular fees for dogs of currently 20 Euro per dog and night.)

In the whole house we offer you an open, free Hightspeed WLAN.

Our reception will be happy to answer any questions you may have about equipment and furnishings.

Dress recommendation

Dear guests,
For breakfast we welcome you also very relaxed in shorts or sportswear.
For dinner we ask you to appear in a sporty-elegant ("Smart Casual") style in all our restaurants.

The reception is manned daily from 09:00 am to 5:30. From 5:30 pm to 09:00 am you can reach our night service by telephone, which is on site within a few minutes if required.


In our garden you have an outdoor chess game at your disposal.

Shuttle Service / Taxi

We cooperate with a local taxi company. We organize your transportation and if you wish you can pay the taxi with your hotel bill.


In our 2017 converted rooms you will find USB and Swiss sockets as well as German sockets. A socket adapter is also available at our reception desk.

Nature trail

The forest nature trail that our forester has laid out starts not far from the hotel, goes along the rock path and then through the forest peace. A dirt road takes you back to St. Fridolin Street and the hotel.

There are circular hiking trails in various categories around houses. In addition, there is the varied route network of the Upper Black Forest in the surrounding area. In the daily post of the house you will find daily other selected hiking suggestions.

Entry from abroad

As of March 3, 2022, no states/regions are considered high-risk or virus variant areas in Germany. There are no more entry requirements except to carry a 3G (or 2G) proof (vaccinated, recovered or tested) when crossing the border.

Should new SARS CoV-2 variants appear, Germany can identify risk areas again in the future. If you stayed with us outside of Germany in the last 10 days before your arrival, you will find the latest information from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) and the federal government here.

Laundry change

Environmental protection is important to us.

We replace your towels as soon as you place them on the floor or in the bathtub/shower.

Bed linen will be changed every 3rd day during your stay. If you wish, we can also change the linen daily. Please inform us at the reception.

Please also let us know if you do not wish to change linen or towels.
